but with the help of kyoukai..who damages houken 40%. chopping off fingers, stab in forearm, lots of sword attack injuries.

I love the fierce courage of this episode. They attacked like it was a siege right against the heart of Wei's army.

Kyou also showed her confidence without backing down from any challenge. Not going to lie, this is the type of battle that keeps the season's momentum. Great episode

kyoukai is one of the main reasons this show is great, her stunts are astonishing like here is just a small part compared to wats coming in future..since s1 she's been my fav.

Xin really got lucky their to spot Fengming escaping now he'll either get him or the fire dragon teacher and get a ton of glory despite being a decoy originally meant to have Kyoukai take the glory.

Zi Bai was honestly half dead already if his cousin was alive it definitely would have been a different story, like Wang Ben said he wasn't guarding his vital points and he honestly did want to die that was the main reason Wang Ben defeated the fire dragon. Xin, on the other hand, is fighting a beast twice his size but I do agree he is lowkey forming Ben already defeated a fire dragon without reinforcements and he hasn't yet achieved anything of importance as yet. Love this anime but I hope the Xin gets some action soon

Xin is the main character but not the best one. IRL he too is not the most famous and also not the most sucessful general of Qin.

Plus this war against Wei is also Ben's most impressive achievement in his history. And he is also preety lucky for the rest of his life since he got to clean up finishing wars and giving the final strike to some kingdoms.

Xin on the other hand got his best achievements while under Ben's father's command, with big wins that contributed for the global and not with the decisive ones or finishing ones.
But I guess in the anime he will get some more important roles and now he will probably kill one of those two (I guess killing the great general now would be way too much so I would bet in the fire dragon) if not he will definitly save the heart of the army .

and that is a very good plot point to why he was able to be defeated by one so young. Most stories don't have that commitment to being logical.
